I’ve realised that my author’s notes for all my challenge stories are going to look pretty similar, and that the suggestion on posting is to keep them under 50 words, so I thought, instead of typing it out every time, I’d post a separate page to link to. I think it’ll just be easier this way.

Spoilers for Doctor Who: Jake’s in three episodes of Doctor Who: S02E05 ‘Rise of the Cybermen’, S02E06 ‘Age of Steel’, and S02E13 ‘Doomsday’ and the episode S04E13 ‘Journey’s End’ effects him even though he isn’t actually present. Expect general spoilers for these episodes.

Spoilers for Torchwood: I’m going to try to keep Torchwood spoilers to a minimum but all my stories will be set somewhere in the general timeline after ‘Children of Earth’.

Torchwood Characters: I feel that, since Torchwood is a spinoff of Doctor Who and not fully a separate show and fixed firmly within the Doctor Who universe, its characters should be fair game to appear in a Doctor Who story without me having to call it a crossover. Especially since most of this challenge will be set within a parallel universe. This includes the parallel universe’s version of Owen Harper, who’s going to be a reoccurring character in the challenge and is based on his personality from Torchwood S02E05 ‘Adam’.
